    Grade-batched

Six modules and a competition.

The same modules we run on IIT and university campuses. A bootcamp runs all seven; a workshop picks the ones that matter for you.

  1. Public SpeakingThe three ingredients of a speech and the 4 Ps of delivery: pace, pitch, power, pause. Speaking from the belly, not the throat. Every student speaks in the first hour.A first speech, on film.
  2. CharacterisationWho is this debate actually about? Primary and secondary stakeholders, agency, and the Zoom In rule: one specific person, never a crowd.A stakeholder the judge can picture.
  3. ArgumentationThe table analogy: the motion is the top, arguments are the legs. A.R.E., assertion, reasoning, evidence, and the Why Chain that turns a claim into an impact. One argument that stands up.
  4. Solo Showcase: The DeclamationToday is your stage. Every student delivers a prepared declamation in front of their batch, with direct one-on-one feedback from the trainers.A speech carried alone.
  5. RebuttalsListening for the weak link and answering it on your feet. The 4-step formula: they said, but we disagree, because, so.A rebuttal delivered in the moment.
  6. Motion PrepReading a motion, taking a side, and building a case against the clock, matter, manner, method. Sunday's motions are released so everyone prepares overnight.A case ready for Sunday.

Debate Competition

The intra-bootcamp competition: one-versus-one conventional debate with cross-questioning, three rounds adjudicated on merit, then the finals in the auditorium with parents seated, awards and the closing ceremony.

A certificate, and the before-and-after.

What every student receives.

  • Small batches of 25 with a dedicated coach
  • A fixed schedule shared with the school and parents up front
  • Activity-driven sessions: no slides, no monologues
  • Real-time feedback after every round
  • A final showcase in front of peers, trainers and parents
  • A certificate of participation; merit awards for Best Speaker, Best Adjudicator and Most Improved

Schools can also send a group to a Taivas campus bootcamp as a block booking. Seven campuses so far.

Scored every session. Reported every term.

  • Four dimensions after sessions: clarity and structure, confidence and delivery, argumentation and rebuttal, content and GK awareness.
  • A coach note with every score: what improved, what to work on next.
  • A term report per student and a summary per class, to the school and to parents.
How reporting works

Session feedback

Sample student · Grade 7 · Intermediate

Week 6 · British Parliamentary round

Sample
Clarity & Structure
Are ideas organised and easy to follow?
4
Confidence & Delivery
How does the student carry themselves while speaking?
3
Argumentation & Rebuttal
Are points logical, relevant and well-supported?
4
Content & GK Awareness
Is the student using current, relevant examples?
3
Coach noteStrong case structure and a sharp second rebuttal. Slow the opening by a beat, and bring one current example into the GK section next week.

The proposal, in one document.

Formats, how a term is timetabled, the rubric and a sample report, partner schools and the pricing structure. Something you can forward to the management committee.
