A seasoned national-level debate coach, our journey began with the mission to create a space where students could grow into confident communicators and critical thinkers. Taivas was born out of a desire to go beyond conventional learning, offering students a dynamic platform to express themselves, build confidence, and master the art of persuasion.
We believe that the ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and engage in meaningful discourse is essential for success, not only in debate but also in shaping a brighter future. Through our programs, we aim to equip students with the tools to confidently navigate complex challenges, inspire change, and lead with purpose. Together, we are building a foundation for lifelong success and leadership.
TIMELINE
Where It All BeganTatsam Lamba began his journey as a mentor, coaching students in debate and public speaking out of pure passion, with no resources and no fees. His approach was unconventional yet effective—teaching not just debating skills, but confidence and critical thinking.
By the end of the year, his students had already started winning local competitions, planting the first seeds of what would become Taivas Debate Club.
Growth Through PassionWord of mouth brought in more students, and Tatsam began mentoring teams for regional and state-level debate tournaments.
By this time, dozens of students had won medals and accolades, proving the impact of his unique coaching methods. The vision for a larger platform started taking shape, but the resources were still limited.
Building a LegacyTatsam’s students reached new heights, winning at national-level tournaments and making their mark on prestigious stages. This year saw the coaching of over 50 students, with teams consistently breaking into the top brackets of competitive debates. The Taivas ethos was born—a commitment to making high-quality debate training accessible to every aspiring speaker.
Taivas Takes FlightOfficially launched as Taivas Debate Club, the platform started with a small yet ambitious goal: to empower students to SPEAK, LEAD, and SUCCEED.
In just six months:Over 20+ Champion Teams emerged from Taivas, winning competitions at platforms like Behes, WSDC (Prelims), Cambridge, and Oxford Debates. The club’s enrollment grew to over 400 students, setting a benchmark for success in India’s debating circuit. Students began achieving not just victories, but recognition in the global debate community.
Strengthening the RootsTaivas expanded its reach, forming partnerships with reputed institutions like the Bal Bharati Group of Schools and Maxfort Schools. A focus on in-school training programs and personalized coaching helped Taivas double its student base.
Achievements:Students excelled at debating championships, both regionally and nationally. Taivas gained recognition as one of the most in-demand debate training platforms in Delhi NCR. The year ended with Taivas coaching over 1,000 students and becoming a trusted name in academic debating.
Shaping the FutureTrained 3,000+ students across 20+ institutions. Conducted specialized programs for elite debates like Cambridge, Oxford, and WSDC, ensuring students had a global edge.
Expanded partnerships:Continued collaborations with schools like Bal Bharati and Maxfort, alongside expanding to new institutions. Students began setting records, with Taivas alumni recognized as leaders in competitive debating.
The Taivas RevolutionPlans to launch the Taivas Global Debate Challenge, India’s largest debate platform. A vision to empower 10,000 students globally by 2026. Introducing AI-powered debate analytics to give every student a personalized learning path. Taivas isn’t just about debate—it’s about leadership, confidence, and creating tomorrow’s changemakers.
